Basketball Skills Clinics

Gain confidence heading into a new season by sharpening the key skills that are critical to success on the court!

Out of Season

Overview

This clinic is designed to sharpen skills and awareness.  It is appropriate for every level player from beginner to advanced, boys and girls.  Even players who participate in Club/AAU programs need skill work, unless the pro scouts are already at your door or the D1 scholarship has been signed.

It's a known fact that the top players put in extra time to hone their craft outside of normal team scheduled practices.  The Bald Eagle Basketball Clinics are led by Coach Bob who previously led the Los Altos High School boys team to the first ever CCS Championship in school history. The preseason period is a pivotal time that lays the foundation for a great year.  Bald Eagle is here to help provide the reps and guidance!

We have two types of Basketball Skills Clinics

1. Fundamental Skills Clinic - This is all skills, no scrimmaging.  We are working on all they key skills necessary to prepare for your season, tryouts or evaluations.  Your skill level holds no bearing so it's appropriate for advanced to beginner because each player is working independently, or with a partner of like skill level.  It's a great clinic to come to with a friend/teammate to challenge you.

2. Scrimmage Skills Clinic - This is an "in game format" of coaching similar to a real practice. We split up the players so they have an even matchup, form teams and play.  During scrimmage we will stop and talk about general offensive and defensive strategies. For offense we hone in on things like spacing and general movement patterns. For defense we go over basic position on ball and as a team.

Daily Programming

Fantastic coaching and high quality programming offers game play and skill development in our preseason clinics.  Fundamentals are the focus and offensive skills are emphasized so players are prepared and confident come tryouts, evaluations or their first few practices.
