The Baller Basketball Camp is for 3rd-8th graders and aims to build complete players who understand the importance of each skill required to be successful on the basketball court, not just guard or post skills..or jacking 3's like Steph Curry. He is much more than just a shooter.
We aspire to increase the intrinsic motivation of each camper, so that they will strive to be their very best well beyond the basketball court. Campers will get high level coaching on all the key fundamentals and concepts in order to become a complete player.
We want campers to walk away feeling better about themselves and knowing that their decisions and attitude dictate where they end up as a player, and more importantly as a person.
THE ULTIMATE IN SUMMER PROGRAMMING
Our camp program involves and excellent mix of skill work, drills, game play and competitions. Every aspect is thoughtfully assembled to keep campers engaged, connected, active and improving.
We also have a unique afternoon program, our GO ZONE Free Choice Period outlined below.
Campers love our basketball camp formula which is why we are one of the largest camps around. Never boring, always FUN and a growing LOVE OF HOOPS in their heart!
Daily Programming
The Bald Eagle Basketball Camp is suited for all level players from beginner to advanced. We masterfully manage groupings and match-ups so that each player is challenged yet successful.
Campers remain in the Basketball Camp program the entire morning as well as right after lunch and at the last segment of the day. They have a sound mix of skill development, exciting competitions and lots of games.
Don't let them miss the two ongoing weekly tournaments, the 3v3 NCAA Madness and the 5v5 Go Bald Classic with prizes to the champions!
The camp is led by our Professional Basketball Director and a multitude of highly experienced and trained coaches who with college and/or high school playing experience. Every coach at Bald Eagle is trained to take pride in providing a positive experience for all players.
Coach Bob, the camp founder, designs this concept from his vast experiences as a Head Varsity Coach, college Asst. Coach, National Junior Basketball & Foothill Youth Basketball League Board Member, Positive Coaching Alliance Trainer, youth coach (his own 3 kids!) and college playing experience. He has 25 years of experience teaching high school PE and SPED. He is a movement and teaching expert with a Kinesiology degree along with a Masters in Special Ed and Credential in PE.
This masterfully thought out camp design will have kids improving dramatically, growing their confidence, feeling empowered and loving basketball.
MORE THAN JUST BASKETBALL
One element of our Basketball Camp that has it selling out every week is our "added feature" you won't find anywhere except Bald Eagle. Most basketball camps exhaust and burnout the kids with SIX hours of basketball.
Our unique formula gives them a choice to break from hoops for about an hour in the afternoon. If they don't want the break, they can choose to play more basketball games or get extra shots up with a coach.
Since we have 2 other camps that are going on at the same location, Non-Traditional Multi Sports and Sports Leadership, we have options other basketball camps don't.
In the afternoon, all 3 camps come together for our famed GO ZONE Free Choice Period that ALWAYS includes a basketball station so they can play hoops all day if they want.
The GO ZONE Free Choice periods are open to every camper on campus, and it's a time for all campers to come together and it has a FUN family feel.
Kids love to CHOOSE what fun summer activity they want to enjoy and GO to that ZONE!(swimming*, bouncy house, ga-ga ball pit, water games, dodgeball, whiffle ball, volleyball, basketball, flag football, pickle-ball, arts & crafts, yoga/dance, soccer, kickball, hockey, indoor scooter ball, Zaber sword games, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, etc.)
It's the perfect formula because too many hours of basketball can get daunting so campers LOVE having a semi-structured break to go "just have fun" and choose their own plan for an hour each day.
It is summer after all!

LOS ALTOS - Blach Middle School
- Drop off window 8:45am - 9:00am (8:30am ok Mon)
- Camp (Mon-Thu) 9:00am - 3:00pm
- Camp (Fridays) 9:00am - 12:00pm
- Pick up 3:00pm - 3:15pm (Mon-Thu)
- Pick up (Fridays) 12:00- 12:15pm (Fridays)
- Offered 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. Particularly valuable on Fridays when camp ends at 12:00 noon.
- Unlimited EC Package offers huge savings for working parents. Cost is only $140. (Unlimited must be signed up for by Monday morning checkin. If done online during camp reg will include all discounts)
- Hourly option is $12/hr prorated every 15min and does not require any pre-registration or notice (we just keep your kiddos till you show up! :)
- Late fees are $1/min when you show up past 6pm due to extended facility and employee costs.
- STANDARD FULL DAY: $599/wk
- STANDARD EARLY BIRD: $574/wk (Ends March 1st)
- MULTI 4+ WEEKS: $549/wk (HUGE $50+/wk savings especially combined with Sibling Discount!)
PARTICIPANTS
- Basketball Camp for incoming COED 3rd-8th* graders (*register as Fall of 2025 Incoming Grade).
- 2nd graders are permitted if they can shoot to 10ft rim and are emotionally ready to compete with older kids.
- Players sorted by age and skill level
- Advanced players can play up with older groups/competition levels.
- We also offer a Multi-Sports Camp for TK-5th graders at the same location as well as a Sports Leadership Camp for 6th-8th graders
- Incoming 9th & 10th graders should see our volunteer Coach In Training Leadership Program. This program fills every summer so you should apply early. Application opens in mid-February. Join our Newsletter at the bottom of our home page to receive program announcements.
- Paid Coaching Positions start for teens entering 11th grade and up.
DISCOUNTS
- 10% Sibling Discount Including Unlimited Package Extended Care Fees AND Multi 5-7 Week Package - Register kids separately, discount will be tracked and deducted automatically. Any camp, but must be same weeks & location.

REFERRAL PROGRAM
- Brand new families referred by an existing BE family via Referral Program process receives $25 off their first registration

REGISTRATION CHANGES
NO CHANGE FEES!! Bald Eagle families can make changes from one week to the next, change location, or switch children at camp much as they would like with absolutely NO FEE. Whatever it is you need to change, we are here to serve you!
REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS
Bald Eagle families can cancel any summer camp registration, at any location, free of charge up until May 1st. Beyond May 1st, until 2 weeks prior to the start of camp, families have the following options....
1. Cancel your registration and receive a full refund to your credit card, minus a 20% cancellation fee.
2. Cancel your registration and receive a full credit to your Bald Eagle Account, minus a 5% cancellation fee. Credits do not expire and can be used for any future event, at any location, year round.
**Within 2 weeks of camp we reserve the right to only offer Option #2, particularly if a camp has been full.

Coaches
Coach Bob is the Founder & CEO of Bald Eagle Sports Camps. He has taught Special Ed and PE since 1995, currently at Los Altos HS. Coach Bob has over 25 years coaching experience from youth to collegiate, is a Certified Positive Coaching Alliance Trainer and holds two Credentials along with a Masters in Special Education. Coach Bob is a Co-Founder of TRUSALUS, a tech platform specializing in peak performance and injury recovery in youth athletes. Lastly, he has served for nearly 2 decades as a Board Member of the largest youth recreation league in the region, Foothill Youth Basketball.
As the previous Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Los Altos High School, Coach Bob led the Eagles to 2 SCVAL titles ('13,'14) and the schools first ever Central Coast Section Championship (2015). Bald Eagle Camps has been profiled in PCA's books and Coach Bob was named by PCA as a Development Zone Leadership Fellow. Coach Bob believes children should have a place to feel encouraged, included, cared for, safe from bullying, free from negativity and expected to have as much fun as possible. At the same time, children need direction on how to be their best person in every given moment.
