Summer Basketball Camp

Just one full week of our popular summer hoops camp will improve skills and build passion like never before.

Overview icon

Bald Eagle Basketball Camp aims  to build complete players who understand the importance of each skill required to be successful on the basketball court, not just guard or post skills.  We aspire to increase the intrinsic motivation of each camper, so that they will strive to be their very best well beyond the basketball court. Campers will get high level coaching on all the key fundamentals and concepts. We want campers to walk away feeling better about themselves and knowing that their decisions and attitude dictate where they end up as a player, and more importantly as a person.

Daily Programming

At Bald Eagle Basketball Camp we teach campers the skills to become “complete basketball players”, working on each part of their game, and understanding the myriad of roles that contribute to a teams success. Our camp is suited for all level players from beginner to advanced and we masterfully manage matchups so that each player is challenged yet successful.

But we are unique in many other ways, for instance, on the same location where we hold this camp we also run a Non-TraditionalMulti Sports Camp and a Jr.High JumpOUT Camp.  Basketball Campers get the best of all worlds, because they get a break from basketball for about an hour each day to enjoy the famed GO ZONEFree Choice Period where all campers can select what fun summer activity they want to enjoy (swimming*, water games, dodgeball, whiffle ball, arts & crafts, yoga/dance, soccer, kickball, hockey, indoor bottom ball, Zaber sword games, ping pong, air hockey, etc.).  Six hours of basketball can get daunting and they love having a semi-structured break to go "just have fun" and choose their own plan for an hour each day.  It is summer after all!

  • We offer a unique combination of skill development, modified games to emphasize key principles, team building, competitive game play, and fun competitions. The goal is to build skills, passion and confidence!
  • Free Fresh & Healthy lunch & morning snack! (NEW!) Provider is Taste Nutrition.
  • Movement Training AND FunFIT workout each week.
  • Our skill development is achieved through quality instruction and high repetition, as taught by John Wooden.
  • We modify games to make sure everyone has an equal chance to develop.
  • Unique GO ZONE Free Choice Period: We’ve found that kids love getting out of the gym for short pockets of time to participate in cross-sport movement training activities, go swimming, play our patented “ultimate” games, do arts/crafts, other traditional sports, play in the Activity Arcade, etc. Because we run several camps on one location, we can give them what their hearts desire, great choices!  Our GO ZONE offers them the choice of several different stations across the campus for a period of the afternoons. That said, if some of our basketball junkies want more court time, it's usually one of the GO ZONE stations offered every day!
