Summer Camp registration is OPEN for 2021! We are so PUMPED!!
HOLY MOLY...SUMMER REGISTRATION IS OPEN for TK-5th GRADERS!! LETS GO!!!
An UPDATED (post June 15th) note from our founder...
It’s been a long, grueling process of contemplating safety and strategy to make sure we can effectively execute a first class summer camp amidst the many challenges at hand. Through careful consideration we have come up with a completely revamped Bald Eagle Sports Camp program for the summer of 2021!
New guidelines were released by the CDC saying that unvaccinated children do not need to wear masks outdoors in summer camps or while playing sports. It is recommended to wear them for indoor activities. There is some speculation or flexibility to differentiate rigorous vs distanced non-active movement indoors. Vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks at all. Although 95% of our camp activities are outdoors and indoor spaces are well ventilated, please send your child with a mask daily to be used as regulations dictate.
This will be the new policy we follow for campers, coaches and parents coming on campus to pick up their kids. If you are not comfortable with this policy please let your child know that you want them to wear their mask at all times or as you deem appropriate. Obviously we will be respectful of and support everyone's personal preferences while we adhere to CDC guidelines.
Here is an article to support this change if you need it. The title of the article does NOT do a good job communicating what the message of the article is when you read it. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/unvaccinated-kids-still-need-masks-summer-camp-cdc-says-n1268847
Looks like it's time for kids to run and play like the days of old! I'm excited for them!
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

MULTI-SPORTS CAMP OVERVIEW
Our famed "non-traditional" Multi-Sports Camp offers unique games mixed with traditional favorites meshed in an atmosphere of inclusion and teamwork. Our activities are engaging for any level of athleticism as long and we are known for getting even the laziest kids up and moving...and loving it! We believe everyone can have a passion for an active life, but sadly school and youth sports programming often turns off some kids who think they don't fit in. Programming design influenced by our Founders Special Ed & PE degrees makes for a culture that fits EVERY child. With a dynamic and diverse variety of movement activities, campers will finish the week saying "more Bald Eagle!" We see it every year, and as one parent recently said, "it was great to see how excited they were to come back again & again!", or "this is the only camp my kids demand to do over & over!" Program is definitely important, but it's our engaging, energetic and passionate coaches that really make the atmosphere magnetic to every camper!
The unique games and camp design are indicative of it's founder who values making sure everyone feels included, everyone has fun, everyone gets exercise, everyone is respectful and everyone feels competitively challenged.
MORNING: Campers stay with their teams in the morning while playing in highly inclusive yet competitive non-traditional games, many of which involve Gator Skin Nerf Balls and Zaber Soft Swords. These highly creative games that are loved by every camper help to bond the teammates and coaches together. It also allows their coaches to reinforce our camp life message delivered the first 15min of each day.
AFTERNOON: Campers get to enjoy our famed GO ZONE Free Choice Period . COVID MODIFICATIONS warrant movement as a team so they decide as a group between a myriad of structured activities for their team to participate in together. They simply LOVE to decide what fun activity to do! Their choices include more traditional sports like soccer, basketball, whiffle-ball, hockey, inflatables and swimming (some locations), and many more. Additionally, one station is always the GO ZONE Activity Arcade which has activities like ping pong, air hockey, foosball, arts & crafts, yoga, dance, board games, balloon ball, etc. All activities are well organized and led by our coaching staff. We wrap up the camp day by coming back together with their coach and teammates for one final team game before dismissing with an icy treat.
MESSAGE: The Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) message that's taught each morning is the umbrella over all that we do at Bald Eagle. Beyond the elaborate programming standards, the biggest difference between Bald Eagle and our competitors really is the culture generated by the camp message. Our PCA Certified Double Goal Coaches are committed to creating an environment that is empowering, uplifting, inclusive and encouraging. That commitment translates to the campers and they too strive to reach their own personal mountain top. Isn’t that what youth sports should do? At Bald Eagle it really happens!
Be sure to visit our PCA page to read more about our message, or contact us in person to discuss any questions you have about our camp. Email our firstname.lastname@example.org anytime at all!
